At your first appointment, time will be taken to evaluate your limb and the goals that you wish to achieve with your new prosthesis.  Your practitioner will discuss with you pro’s and con’s of several different options to help focus on your specific needs based on the latest technology available.  This may include several different components, which can each be tested during the fitting process.  Your leg configuration should not be determined solely by your prosthetist, but also with your input as the patient.  We seek to achieve 100 percent satisfaction.

Upper Extremity Prosthetics

Prosthetic Arms have significantly advanced in technology due to the increase in veterans with upper extremity amputations.  Government funding has provided a catalyst for research that is leading to new surgical techniques, better cosmoses, and increased degrees of motions offered with prosthetic limbs.  Whether you are a long time user and want repairs or replacement of what you have or are a new amputee and are looking for the latest technology, all of this is offered at our facility.

The practitioners at Ark Valley have years of experience with all types of bracing.  Orthotics are offered from head to toe for adults and pediatrics with multiple etiologies including: polio, myelomeningocele spina bifida, scoliosis, cerebral palsy, fracture bracing, posterior tibial tendon dysfunction, low back pain, cervical spine injuries, baseball.pngdiabetes, foot pain, plantar fasciitis, osteoarthritis, knee ligament injury, plus many more.  Our speciality lies in custom bracing.  A mold is taken of the affected area, which is used to fabricate a brace directly to your shape.  This gives you an optimal fit for support and comfort.
